In May 2023, I worked with On The Record to produce podcasts with childcare activists. Together, they learned to interview, record, edit and script a podcast over the course of just a few sessions! The resulting series looks to archives and oral histories for inspiration to tackle the lack of affordable childcare and low pay for childcare workers, which is a major cause of poverty and inequality today. What needs to change to address the childcare crisis in London? 

Childcare Voices is an 8-episode series launched on podcast platforms in July 2023. In 2024, Childcare Voices was awarded Silver in the category Grassroots Podcasts at the Audio UK awards!
